Church Street Ministries serves the community by meeting their most basic needs, shelter, food, clothing,housewares,personal items, care and counseling. Their two stores, Second Mile Thrift shop and Second Mile West sell donated items in order to fund this mission. 80% of the proceeds go directly toward furthering this cause.

Youth Services
Church Street Ministries provides a safe space where young people meet and share concerns. The center offers help in the areas of chemical dependency, basic life and social skills, mentoring, jobs, advocacy for youth in court situations, education and service learning projects.
Teens and Young Adults
Church Street Ministries offers opportunities for:
- Hands on learning experiences to understand the life and problems of living in depressed areas
- Practical experiences in Recycling material items for families in need, furniture, food, clothing, household items
- Helping at shelters for the homeless
- Participating in work camp experiences in Cleveland, Ohio and Kentucky, USA and overseas
- Joining with teens from many churches through TORCH- Teen OutReach through Community Help. Service to local agencies by painting, cleaning, preparing food at shelters and entertaining residents at nursing homes TORCH has been in existence since 1965.
